By Jonathan Crouch. Introduction. The Ford Grand C-MAX seven-seat compact MPV has long been the best People Carrier of its kind to drive. In this revised post-2015 form, it also brought a range of useful fresh technologies to this segment and benefitted from smarter looks and a revised range of more efficient engines. The C-Max flows beautifully around bends and nonchalantly soaks up most bumps. It moves with a precision and panache that chunky, top-heavy SUVs can only dream of, and unlike many of these, it has a very large boot. An honourable mention too about the fact that it has a proper manual handbrake.
