Seeing as it's kinect capable (for little kiddies air steering), I'd just about guarantee it will have split screen. Although mind you, they scrubbed LAN in forza3 so that everyone had to go out and get xboxlive gold subscriptions cos they were loosing so much money when people could have all the fun they wanted without the fee-for-play service

Either devs skip split screen entirely for the Series (if they can't get it working on the Series S) or Microsoft removes split screen parity. One of them (or both) is the problem, the devs bad decisions or Microsoft's unrealistic expectations, the hardware is just the tool and it's a tool very affordable and appreciated by many fans.
It took me a long time to find the split screen option which INEXPLICABLY is in the Single Player submenu. When I go into it I am unable to get it set up. The bottom of the screen seems to indicate that the other player should sign-in or join or whatever it says but no matter how many times we tried using the button indicated and attempting For Forza Motorsport 5 on the Xbox One, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "How is the split-screen?". jWijdM.
